Lecture of the Mayor of Bydgoszcz, Mr. Konstanty Dombrowicz.Mayor of Bydgoszcz passed to our team the knowledge and experience concerning the City achievement in area of Urban Environment Technology before and after integration in European Union

29. November, 2007.
Lecture of Deputy Director of Department of Environmental Protection, Mr Grzegorz Boron During this lecture we met the representatives of the Department of Municipal Maintaining of the City, and we have been informed with details related to municipality adopted legislation and strategic plans in area of Solid Waste Management. Also, we have been supplied by crucial documentations related to Solid Waste lows, regulations and rules which exist in EU, Poland and municipality of Bydgoszcz.

30. November, 2007.
Lecture of the Deputy Director of the Waste Water Treatment Plant, Mr Jerzy LegunWe visited the Waste Water Treatment Plant “Kapuscinska”, and got knowledge about the contemporary and high-tech computerized waste water treatment plant and about energy recovery from the sludge as well.

01. December, 2007.
Lecture of the Director of the Water Supply System Company, Mr Stanislaw DrzewieckiWe met the top-management of one typical Polish mid-scale private water supply company. During the lecture we learnt about the process of privatization of the public services in Poland. Representative of Company informed us in details with all daily problems they faced related to reliable water supply, increasing energy efficiency of the plant, achieving socially  acceptable prize of the water, etc.

During our stay we also had the meetings with:

• Vice-Chancellor of University of Technology and Life Science, Prof. Antoni Bukaluk.
• Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Henryk Holka and his colleagues.
